Artists’ Morality Should not Interfere with Their Art

Although there are many valid points brought up in this essay, I ultimately disagree with the idea that an artist’s morality should not interfere with their art. I think that if an artist commits a crime or has reprehensible behavior, their art should not be supported. I think that it’s important to hold the artist accountable for their actions, and that we should not brush their behavior under the rug. I also think that it’s important to remember the victims of the artist’s crimes.
