Overall, I though that the film Moonlight was successful in communicating its main message, which is that there is a wide range of expressions of masculinity, and that individuals who identify in the LGBTQ community should be proud for who they are. I also thought that the film did a good job of illustrating how Chiron’s life was impacted by the individuals closest to him.
