Overall, this article was well-written and provided accurate research data. The author does a good job of explaining the de Bartolome model and how it applies to the study. I found the section discussing the school-level variables to be the most informative and was pleased to see that the author provided the exact sources for the data. The article provides strong evidence that racial diversity does have an impact on academic achievement in the state of Georgia public schools.
