Overall, the essay does a good job of presenting the information on both Nat Turner and David Walker. I especially like how the author provides the context for the reader on why each man decided to rebel against slavery. However, I feel that the essay could be improved by providing more analysis on the impact of each man’s actions. For example, what was the long-term impact of David Walker’s Appeal? And what was the result of Nat Turner’s rebellion?
